๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ is a short film that explores connection, perception, and the fleeting moments that define us. The vision of director Tom Turner was to capture the honesty of first encounters – how people present themsleves to others, and how time reveals who we really are.
Two strangers, Jess and Alex, meet by chance in a busy London cafรฉ. As they talk, the audience sees flashes of their future together – from their first date to the end of their relationship – while still hearing the audio of their first conversation.
Written by Samuel Berrill and Tom Turner, and directed by Tom Turner, the film was shot over a year and a half to authentically capture the changing seasons and the passage of time. A Glimpse went on to screen at over fifty international festivals – including Raindance, Santa Barbara, Savannah, HollyShorts, and Flickerfest – winning more than twenty awards worldwide, and selling to Acorn TV and Disney+.
