We’re thrilled to announce that The Golden Boy will be hitting the road soon!
After an exceptional beginning to its festival journey, the production team of “The Golden Boy” is now eager to bring this compelling short film to community audiences throughout the U.K. starting in Autumn 2024. This initiative aims to continue the film’s crucial mission of challenging and breaking down preconceived notions about autism, particularly within communities of the Global Majority, and highlighting the lifelong journey of receiving a diagnosis.
We are actively seeking opportunities to showcase “The Golden Boy” in various local settings. If you are aware of any schools, specialist schools, local charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs), or smaller community groups that work directly with autistic individuals of any age in your area, we would love to hear from you. Your assistance in spreading the word will be invaluable in helping us reach a wider audience.
