𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥 is a short film, shot entirely on a mobile phone that delivers a powerful message about environmental change and human responsibility. The filmmakers set out to tell a story that captures the quiet beauty of one man’s connection to nature and his desire to make a difference.
Donnie, lives on his own in a very remote area by the sea. He creates sculptures from ocean waste, until one day the tide changes and he inspires a new normal.
Shot entirely on the Xiaomi Mi 11 mobile phone, Leader was created in collaboration with Xiaomi Studios. The film stars Jack Daw, whose performance earned recognition at the Los Angeles Film Awards, with cinematography by Ali Farahani.
Leader screened worldwide, was featured in British Cinematographer Magazine and won over 10 film festival awards, ending its journey at the Oscar® qualifying Short Shorts Film Festival in Tokyo Japan.
